When does my first kit ship?
Our first kit is the October / Halloween edition, shipping around at the end of September. Subscribe now to reserve yours.
I am a total beginner. Will this be too hard for me?
Not even a little. Our pages are made to be relaxing, not fancy. Blend them or keep it simple, stay in the lines or wander outside them, there is genuinely no wrong way. Each Coloring Club kit even includes a palette card and a technique card that walk you through one new skill at a time, so you will pick things up as you go.
What markers or supplies do I need?
There's no right or wrong set, but here's what we recommend. Look for markers with a brush tip on one side, they're the best for coloring and blending, and the Ohuhu Honolulu (B series) is a members' favorite and a great place to start. Sets range anywhere from 48 to 320 markers, so go with whatever you're comfortable with. If you're newer to the hobby, starting with a smaller set and growing your collection later is a lovely way to begin. The color codes we include are really just training wheels, so if you don't have the exact shade, anything close works beautifully. We'd also suggest one white gel pen for highlights and little finishing touches.
